Fountain Grove Residence

Fountain-Grove-01.jpg

Following the devastating Tubbs fire of 2017, JBP Architects was commissioned to design a new residence on a previously developed lot in what had been the Fountain Grove neighborhood of Santa Rosa. The gently sloping lot is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with views down valley to the southwest towards Santa Rosa and the Sonoma Coast Range. JBP Architects worked closely with the developer-led team to site the new residence within the approximate footprint of the original structure in order to utilize the existing infrastructure and utilities. The split level design maximizes views while minimizing grading and land disturbance. The lower bedroom level opens out to cascading terraces, drought-tolerant landscaping and a generously sized pool for the ultimate wine country living experience.
