Paso Robles Winery

Paso-Robles-01.jpg

Located on a stunning 55 acre estate near Paso Robles, California, the winery site affords panoramic views of the hilltop vineyards to the north, Paso Robles to the east and the Santa Lucia Range to the west. The linear plan and two-story configuration support gravity flow winemaking and facilitate small-lot production of up to 10,000 cases.

Sustainable design elements include rainwater catchment and reuse, extensive use of natural light, intensive green roof and drought-tolerant landscaping, passively cooled fermentation and barrel storage areas, permeable paving and infrastructure for a future photovoltaic array.

Jeremy Butler-Pinkham's specific roles on the project consisted of design development and construction documentation phases, coordination of structural engineer and other consultants, interior and exterior detailing of the tasting room and hospitality areas, as well as exterior detailing of the winery/fermentation, administration and employee buildings.
